Studied theories and methods in GFRC concrete design under Brandon Gore of Hardwood Co in Tuscan AZ. (now in Northwest AR) Shortly after took a 1976 Ranch-style home in Tulsa OK, preserved in the 70s, and remodeled it into the modern age. Through this process I developed an eye and taste for modern minimalist wood and concrete furniture design. Lately I’ve come to appreciate a more hybridized sense of design preferring to mix modern with traditional - satisfies a broader pallet - more inclusive and draws from a wider audience. Being in Dallas has exposed me to a slightly more cosmopolitan aesthetic as a larger market is apt to do - more people, more ideas about what is beautiful!
